anime (aku no hana) analysis
The story takes place in Gunma prefecture.4 Takao Kasuga is a boy who loves to read, especially the book Les fleurs du mal (Flowers of Evil), an anthology of poems by Charles Baudelaire. He is in love with Nanako Saeki, a classmate who is particularly popular and idealized. One day, on the way home, Kasuga realizes he has forgotten his book in high school, so he decides to go back to pick it up. Upon arriving, he finds that, in addition to his book, Saeki has forgotten his gym uniform, and without thinking twice, he takes it with him. The rumor that a pervert has stolen Saeki's gym uniform spreads like wildfire, and Kasuga feels guilty and ashamed for it. This will not go unnoticed by Sawa Nakamura, the most asocial girl in the class, who saw him wear the uniform. Something that she will use to extort Kasuga, and control it at her pleasure.
While Kasuga spends more time with the two girls, he finds himself increasingly guilty of his actions, such as when he attempts to confess vandalizing alongside Nakamura. His family finds out about the classroom incident, Kasuga escapes with Nakamura towards the mountains, dealing with his remorse. The relationship of Kasuga and Saeki is worse, but maintains a good relationship with Nakamura, who are often seen outside classes in the evenings, in a makeshift shelter near the mountains, which is ignited during the summer holidays.
Saeki gets involved again with both boys and causes more problems to the school and the police. During an event at a festival, Nakamura and Kasuga appear together with deadly intentions. Years after the festival event, Kasuga attends a school in Ōmiya-ku, Saitama, where he still struggles with his low confidence in speaking with the rest of the class and has not been able to forget his Nakamura. There he meets a girl who is enthusiastic about reading, falls in love and together they try to visit the place where Kasuga's past haunts him, visiting Nakamura to settle his affairs.
PERSONAL ANALYSIS
This was the anime that I was waiting for in my life that made me think even if what I was doing was right and even if in my love life I have had situations like that, which did not happen but I imagined it. You will never know what will happen and that is what ends up catching you in that anime, Nakamura I love it because although she liked Kasuga, because that was seen from the beginning she tried to support him, which we do some without paying attention to the people we like, the girl Saeki I never liked for him, it was like a kind of impossible love, when the fantasy was completed he died. On the other hand, Nakamura had him do things that he never thought he could do, after thinking about it they were both together or well, something like that, anyway it was the anime that brought me the most green hairs besides Boku dake ga inai machi.
