This kind of sounds like The Office, if it were done in Japanese anime. I'm sure it's not as simple as that, given what I now know about both, but I think you're dead on that for those that work with others, be it in an office environment or not, it's a situation that most of us can relate to.

And while we may not all get our frustrations out, in our head, to death metal, I'm sure we can identify with just wanting to tee off on someone for being so annoying.
