A Geeky Boy's Anime Guide to "YOUR LIE IN APRIL" Anime Review
Dream what you want to dream, be what you want, because you have only one life and one chance to do the things you want to do.
April reminds me of a very moving anime, a popular anime and one of the best anime with romance genre in 2015, "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso" or, in English, "Your Lie In April".

PLOT
The romance drama Your Lie In April tells about Arima Kousei an amazing talented pianist and always dominates in every competition. After his mother and instructor died, he suffered a mental decline in the middle of a piano show at the age of 11. The trauma he suffered caused him to lose the ability to hear the piano clinking sounds even though his physical hearing was fine. Kousei Arima, lost interest in the piano after the incident. He also seems to be releasing his life and only interact closely with his two best friends: Tsubaki Sawabe and Ryota Watari. Until one day, he meets a beautiful and enthusiastic violinist, Kaori Miyazono, he gets a new chance for music and life.
Kaori is a cheerful and passionate violinist with a free and expressive style of music playing; in contrast to Kousei's rigid and structured style of play. Kousei gradually finds new meaning in his music style and also puts a liking to Kaori, without realizing there is a reason for Kaori to guide Kousei back into the music world.
MY REVIEW
I watched this anime 3 times. first impression is not too happy because it does not end happily. Though eager to see the main character back to be himself who often won the competition as in his childhood.
I'm just sad because the end is not what I expected. Maybe it will create the best duet musicians ever. But they only did it once. Because no one knows what fate awaits every human being in the next day.
Overall, this anime is fun for everyone. In addition, this anime also managed to make the animelovers shed tears. Yes maybe this is one of the saddest anime that exist in the anime world
Sure?
Of course. The sadness of this anime lies at the ending, totally unpredictable (why should that the ending)
Previously I had to think if Kaori will successfully undergo surgery and they will do a fantastic collaboration once again, but the fact is... who has been watching it must know! The pent-up love, shit! Really sad. it seems that the creators really know how to make a very touching ending. I think the story is somewhat dangling, because it has not shown Kaori's hard work in changing Kaushei's point of view (playing music in her own style).
The most prominent part of course in terms of the story. Viewed from anywhere, the story is so memorable in the memory. Overall this anime has a different and good storyline, because of the music theme background. Just info, it turns out Eiichiro Oda the author of One Piece also like the manga Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. He once wrote some comments about the manga Shigatsu wa kimi no uso. Here's his comment:
"Before the deadline I took my free time to read his manga (manga Your Lie in April), but I unwittingly read the whole manga until I forgot to do my manuscript."
Oda also praised the author, Naoshi Arakawa, he said that the manga with the music genre is the hardest to do but Naoshi Arakawa makes it perfectly.
And the last, story of Kaori's life is very sad. It's feel real. But the best part is Kaori manages to realize her dream before dhe dies. Her featuring and colaboration with the pianist she had admired since childhood, Arima Kousei managed to make Kaori shine. Just as she wanted.
The last scene will represent the whole anime story Your lie in April.
After success with manga and anime, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso was also adapted into Live Action
You can watch Live Action anywhere (online version: v) you do not have to fear about losing pf his anime feels, because the Live Action will also make you touched and sad.
