Happy New Year / First Drawing of the Year
Celebrating this year with my first drawing for 2018!!
Happy New Year 2018~!!! Man, time sure flies fast. It's already 2018 and I hope that this year will be better than 2017, and also hope that I will be better in 2018 than 2017. Anyway, I post up my drawing for 2018 and it's Chito and Yuuri from Girls' Last Tour. I really like Girls' Last Tour show, so I decided to draw it for my first in 2018. It's really fun as both character are really loveable and I imagined what they would say if they somehow come alive from my drawing.
For this post I'm gonna show some of the drawing process.
- Sketch (On paper)
I was waiting for my friend to finish his car wash, it was taking a bit longer than I thought so I was just drawing this just to fill the time.
- Digital Sketch (improvise)
The sketch (on paper) was a bit weird from what I wanted it to look like, so I make a digital sketch over it to improvise a bit from the first one.
- Line Art
Next is to make a clean line art over the sketch. I like to make a proper line art, as in all the line are connected and I can use magic wand to fill in color more easily.
- Base Color
After that, I filled in the base color that I need for the characters. I wanted it to be almost the exact as the original one, so I used eyedrop for the base.
- Final
And the final product after finishing with the shade and a bit of lighting. I can't decide what to draw for the BG so I kinda just went with a simple shape just to fill in the BG.
That's it~ My first 2018 drawing. My goal for this year is to improve more on my drawing and hopefully make a short comic/doujin or a short animation.
I wonder if this is enough, or should I show more process of drawing next time?
I will be posting weekly if I have some free times.

Yeah~ Here's hoping for a second season since the manga went further. Warning though, the series become more and more depressing if you haven't read the manga yet.
