One Piece: 4 Candidates for Wano's New Rulers!

The Wano war is getting hotter and hotter. After Luffy got back up and fought Kaido, the flow of Wano's battle changed. Some people from the Straw Hats have succeeded in defeating strong people from Kaido's camp such as Jack, Perospero, and others. It seems that the Wano war will soon be over, and Kaido will soon accept his defeat. But after the Wano war is over, who will be the ruler of Wano after Kaido? Here are the characters who are most likely to become rulers of Wano.

Momonosuke Kouzuki

Momonosuke is Oden's biological son. He is the rightful heir to the throne of the Wano Shogunate and is now taking part in the Great Wano War. Momonosuke was saved by his mother 20 years ago, by sending Momonosuke and some of Oden's followers to the future. Although at first he was a crybaby, but now he has grown into an adult.

Now Momonosuke's age has grown drastically, due to Shinobu's technique. The technique can increase a person's age but cannot change it back to how it was before. Momonosuke who is now quite mature, is very worthy to be the leader of Wano. Moreover, he has the power to transform into a dragon, which can be used to protect Wano.

Yamato

Yamato is Kaido's biological son but sided with the samurai camp. He has idolized Oden for a long time and wants to become a strong samurai. Now Yamato helps the samurai and the Straw Hats to defeat his own father. His battle with Kaido has proven that he can be even against his father. Yamato did plan to get out of Wano and follow in Oden's footsteps to become a pirate. But if Wano needed a leader, at least Yamato could be a suitable candidate.

World Government

If the two characters above don't take the opportunity to become rulers of Wano, then the World Government will likely take over. In chapter 1028 the Government is traveling to Wano with their large entourage of troops. They are now waiting for the outcome of the battle between Kaido and Luffy.

CP-0 as the World Government's spy has conveyed information (via Rob Lucci) that it seems that Kaido and Luffy's fight is going to be fiercer than before. Even the World Government has predicted that Kaido will lose at the hands of Luffy and his friends. The arrival of the World Government to Wano is to monopolize Wano's natural resources in its own way, after Kaido's defeat.

Hiyori

By lineage, Hiyori is Momonosuke's younger brother. If one day it turns out that Momonosuke died in the Wano war. Then it was possible that the Shogunate throne would fall into Hiyori's hands. Even though she is a woman, she is very worthy to be the leader of Wano. Hiyori inherited her mother's beauty and her father's courage. Right now she was still in one of the areas in Wano along with the rest of the Kozuki clan vassals.

Although many may disagree because she is a woman, but as long as many of the Kozuki clan followers agree to support Hiyori, then that can happen. Hiyori will be the only female leader in Wano if she is elected ruler.
