Naruto Will Have a New Bijuu?
Losing Kurama was the heaviest blow in Naruto's life, after he had to lose both his parents as well as his mentor. Kurama was like a friend to Naruto, where he was always there and ready to help him. Sometimes indeed Kurama often do tantrums, they even fought each other. However, in the end the fox became a figure who accompanied Naruto until he realized his dream.
As we know, Kurama used to hate humans a lot and he also really hated Naruto. He hated having to be in the body of someone he hated. Because of this, Kurama rarely cooperated with Naruto. Kurama only "helps" when Naruto is in an emotional and angry position, because with Kurama's "leak" chakra, the seal on Naruto's body weakens and this can be used by Kurama.
Slowly but surely, Kurama saw Naruto's struggle and determination until Kurama finally melted and finally wanted to work with Naruto. This happened during the fourth great ninja war, where Kurama finally voluntarily lent his power. Kurama's death makes a question then arises, can Naruto then return to being a Jinchuriki?
If you look at its history, a Jinchuriki is a figure who is assigned to be a place for the bijuu to be monitored easily. This idea came from the first Hokage, Hashirama. However, many shinobi then target the Tailed Beasts to make them a deadly weapon. That was the reason why the Tailed Beasts hated humans.
However, as we know that the Tailed Beasts have different thoughts towards Naruto. They believed in Naruto. This is what later became the basis for the theory of some fans that Naruto could then return to being a Jinchuriki. Although it sounds interesting, it is unlikely that Naruto will return to being a Jinchuriki or get a new bijuu.
There are several reasons for this. First, Naruto no longer wants to make the tailed beasts feel constrained by being inside the Jinchuriki's body. That's why Naruto is currently "liberating" the tailed beasts, and none of them are going to become Jinchuriki anymore. Before Kurama died, Naruto was arguably the last Jinchuriki in the franchise.
Then, there are those who think that Kurama is actually a router for all the Tailed Beasts chakra which is then channeled towards Naruto, so that Naruto can use the tremendous power of the tailed beasts. If likened to an internet network, without a router, the internet network will not be connected.
In the absence of Kurama, then the power of the tailed beasts may not be connected or can not be used by Naruto. And one final problem with this theory is whether Naruto would then want to do it. Did Naruto really want that? As we know, Naruto is not a person who is thirsty for strength and power. He's not greedy about it.
All this time, everything he managed to do was the result of his own hard work. For example the Rasengan ability, which he managed to do in months. Based on that, Naruto himself probably wouldn't want him and the tailed beasts to unite and contribute their powers. Naruto will stick to his stance to free the bijuu.
After all, from a narrative perspective, if Naruto returns to become a Jinchuriki then it will not be in accordance with what was the initial goal of the series. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations focuses on the new generation of Konoha, and whether you realize it or not, Masashi Kishimoto is actually slowly starting to shift the focus of his story from Naruto to Boruto.
This can be seen from Boruto who is much stronger than Naruto when he was a child – even now. Then how Naruto must lose Kurama due to the fight against Isshiki. So, although Naruto getting a new bijuu becomes something interesting, but we have to accept that now the focus of the story has changed.
