Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka- The Most Magical Place on Earth

Well, if you are an anime fan like me then Nippon would be your number one place to visit. And you wouldn’t go there without booking tickets to the most magical place on earth — Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka.

I’ve been to Disneyland in Orlando and I am telling you, there is nothing quite like Studio Ghibli. Here you can actually relax. It’s not really nice of me to compare the two but I guess it all boils down to preference. Mind you, night time at Disneyland is actually quite magnificent.

Anyway, I felt like a little kid inside Studio Ghibli. The beautiful garden and the entrance is enough to spark your imagination. And if you know the animes released by the studio then it is more of an amazing experience.

I can totally see a face in this photo. Unfortunately, you are only allowed to take photos of the outside. Everyone respects this rule and I must say, I totally understand it.

A huge dead bug outside while waiting to get in. My kids were already crafting their theories as to how it ended up there. Fun to hear.

I love this old fashioned water well. As you can see, my kids felt the same.

And ofcourse, the Giant Robot. Truly surreal to see this in real life. Yep, a bit of a big deal for me haha!
