Even in an urban area, we have large hawk population
My wife was afraid to get too close while taking this photo...
This is in the city of Indianapolis. We have a high hawk population.
We are glad it found a squirrel as opposed to one of our chickens!
Impressive photo! When I lived just outside the city I saw more hawks than I did living deep on the woods or up on a mountain like I do now. I think they prefer being closer to urban areas.
