resting bear style
During the spring, summer and fall seasons Grizzly bears have it tough. It is all about food and eating as much as they can to grow big to have a chance of mating and to survive the winter months. So after a busy morning or afternoon on foraging can leave a large male Grizzly bear a little tired and in need of a nap.
This big guy was wandering along the shoreline feeding and then walked up to the treeline and found a nice little log to rest his head on for an afternoon nap. To see these large mammals rest in such a peaceful manner sure is humbling, especially, when you are in their natural world away from our civilization.
