Oh yeah, the smell of a skunk is so much nasty and unbearable that it's simply not possible to be with it and especially when it comes from your pet, nature has come up with such protection for skunks :) Your method with hydrogen peroxide, I think, will be the optimal solution and we will manage to remove this smell!
