Before I really had an understanding of the idea that I eat what my food eats and how far that goes, I realized that the antibiotics in chicken don't process out. I found that out the hard way when it made my daughter, who's allergic to most antibiotics, very, very sick. That was almost 20 years ago. Since then I've been very careful about knowing what my food eats, and what my chickens eat, in particular.
