The Moose is on the Loose.....

The first moose I have ever seen was close enough to smell! I saw this elusive creature high in a mountain pass. He walked with grace and power.
Moose have a unique structure to their hair: the shafts are hollow. This helps them to thermoregulate, keeping themselves warm. The hollow shafts provide additional dead air space to keep a pocket of air, either warm or cool, next to their bodies.

Moose can grow antlers that exceed 6 feet across. Their ears can rotate giving them stereophonic sound! Fascinating.
