RARE "BLACK" BUFFALO //
North Quarter Farm in Riverhead L.I. NY has produced a BLACK Buffalo in 2009. The owner Edwin Tuccio, president of National Bison Foundation, does not know of any other farm that has produced one.
Since 2009 black calf's have been born almost every year. Last year 2017, three were born. Tuccio thinks one of his Bulls is carrying the Black gene.

The varieties present in the animal world is so fascinating
You name it. It's there.
Albino hummingbird article I read a few years back was interesting. I saw an albino white tailed deer in my youth. You could tell it was skiddish and was never by itself. Always was with large groups of deer
I have seen partial white deer. Hunters prize them.
Wow and I thought the white ones were
rare, very cool looking!
Learned something new today :-)
