Woo Hoo! - OUR BABY CHICK MADE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT

in #animals7 years ago

Yesterday, our first baby chick ever was born!

Pinkie-Pepper found it, who told @mama-pepper who called @papa-pepper who named it "Steemie." We weren't sure how good it would do, but it made it through the night sleeping under the wing of its mama.

This morning Red-Pepper and Pinkie-Pepper went out to look and see how it was.

Pinkie-Pepper had to reach under the wing of the mother hen to find it.

Sure enough, it was alive and well. In the photo above it even looks like it is waving "hi."

In other news, the other hens are still laying.

We also saw that when we looked in the hen house. The @little-peppers suggested that we take a photo, so here it is. Enjoy your eggs folks!

Woo Hoo? That's my line.

We know, it was a tribute!

Thanks Son.

Hello pepper's, you have a great day down there. That little chick is so glad to give chance to see the world. If that chick is unlucky, when still an egg, it might end up to fried egg for breakfast

Yes, we are very happy that it is a chick and not just an egg for breakfast!

These little chicks look so cute already, wow they sure lay a lot of eggs per day

That's really cool!! I am glad the chick is ok. Thanks for sharing

She really enjoy, i can see it in her eyes..

Haha! The best punch-line yet :)

Were you expecting a pepper? LOL

Haha no! I found the rhythm of this sentence to be so funny. I imagine I can exactly imagine how it went,

look mommy what we found!

Mommy is busy

Oh go tell dad.

Dad looks up from his newspaper steemit

Hey that's a funny guy

Kids anxious.

What shall we call it?

Dad quickly reacting

Well, let's call him Steemie when he peeps so much haha!

Verry very awesome news! Nice to see you girls have a very good relationship with the mama hen and she didn't peck off your hand! She must trust you a lot!

That's very cool. More cute little critters running around Pepperland.
