IS THIS HUMANISM, couldn't stop for a helpless dog after hitting him....

Hey everyone here, I am back with something for all the family members out here in this steem family.

I and some of my hostel friends were just going out for an evening walk. My pet as I mentioned earlier in other post named LAURE he too saw us going out and he also was starting his walks with us. We just didn't chained him up and let him just walk freely. So we were out of our hostel. After reaching some distance we noticed that LAURE was not with us and all my friends and me started looking for him in the street. We searched him for sometime in the street and the pathway. After sometime being failed in getting him, we saw he was coming towards us from the opposite side of the street. So basically the traffic was too high for which LAURE was hasitating to cross the road and get to us. So we thought of going towards him. We just stood up from the other side of the footpath suddenly we heard a sound just like a car hitting a dog. We were completely blank at that time because in the very next moment we made our head up and saw that it was none other than LAURE. We ran to him without noticing the traffic. He was lying in the middle of the road. I took him in my arms and started looking whether there was some major injuries in his body. But there was not. So we were relaxed for sometime but, he was hurt in his left foot and his nails were broken. So we immediately took him to room and gave him medication and then he was left alone to take rest.

Now the main point is that is it not inhumanity that seeing a dog in such a situation the car that hit him couldn't just stop or slow down his speed for sometime. They too deserve care man. If we the most powerful and intelligent creature in this world are behaving like this than what about the other creatures. I can understand that seeing a dog so near its quite hard to make the bakes work, but after hitting that innocent dog he could stop his car by the side of the road and ask about the incident. But no, the car just flew away in a throttling speed. So just tell me guys who is just cruel the car guy or the dog. It's our responsibility to treat those animals also with love, affection and care. If we care for the animals they too won't be violent to us. So I just wanted to give a suggestion to this world that just don't kill them or just don't let them die with your vehicle's or your ill behaviours. As they too have a very crucial role in maintaining the ecosystem.

I am happy to let you know LAURE has better conditions now and is back to walk around in the PG and cheer us. But this kind of incidence make me think about how lower we can go when it comes to our behaviour to innocence or to those not in powers.

All the animals ask for is just love and they will never betray you. Take my words. Never.

So why being so rude and ignorant to them. It's not just Laure I'm talking about. It's all the animals everyday get hitted by vehicals in the road. You know life matters. Even if it is of Humans or Animals. So all I'm doing is just requesting you to take a note of them while you drive and if shit happens take the responsibility of it. Be a human. And help it to cure their wounds.
