Gecko - stories; today we have a molting day!
Hi, guys!
Today I want to share a bit of update we have in our gecko terrarium. Yesterday Gerda finally began eating! And quite a lot I must say, this tiny little lizard ate 9 fat crickets. I'm so happy it finally happened, cause I already became nervous about her.
Also, today Jar-Jar decided to change her skin. Usually it happens at night, and really fast, so you can just see white gecko in the evening and then colorful again in the morning, but today Jar-jar decided to give me a surprise, and I was able to make a few photos of her molting.
All geckos eat their old skin after pulling it off. It looks really funny, hope one day I'll be able to film a video too:)

Oh my goodness, I love their little 'flintstones' stone house with the little chimney. Eating their skin, makes sense. It probably has some nutrients or something they need?

i have never seen a gecko changing skin so thanks for that! Also it seems like you have created a gecko land there :P how many do you intend to put in there or in general obtain?

hmm maybe i said that wrong cause my English aren't that good. i saw that you have 2 gecko's in the photo and you have created a small ''geckoland'' for them. my question is if you wanna have more geckos in general or stay with those 2
I'm also not good in english, it's OK:)
Now I have 2 geckos, they're both girls. But in spring I plan to have one more, male, and then - who knows:)

so beautiful geckos!!!! I've never seen a gecko while he/she are chanking the skin, it's really fascinating! I have to say that I love gecko, I think they are beautiful creatures with funny fingers ^_^
Unfortunately Jar-Jar lost most of her fingers on the front paws before she became my pet, because of incorrect conditions of living. I can't fix that, but I love her anyway:)
A nice catch up been slacking recently. Good to see them coming along. Hope the back is mended too and you set for 2018 ;)

I meant do they like the fake grass stuff that's on the floor now instead of the paper towels you were using before. Sorry I wasn't very clear, I have a bad habit of sometimes doing run-on sentences :)
