Say Hello to Daisy.....
We today welcomed a new Guide Dog Puppy to our family. Now normally we don't take on a new puppy while our current dog hasn't even started formal training yet, but Daisy is an exception.
Daisy is almost 19 weeks old and her Puppy Raiser unfortunately could not continue so we decided to take over and raise her till she starts working.
Here she is in the foot well of the car getting ready to go to her new home.
She's gorgeous and has such a lovely character. And our older Guide Dog to be Riggs is absolutely thrilled to have another lab as a playmate. Both of them are completely buggered from running around all day and wrestling.
We are still getting to know her and I will be putting up regular posts about her progress here.
It's an awesome thing you guys do! We have a pitcb black labrador ourselves and what a beautiful dog. We recently got a little staffie, Oreo, as well and he's keeping miss Peppa very busy :)
She is just so adorable. Looks like they are both exhausted from all the playing.
That they were. We love how labs play. They play differently to other dogs so Riggs having a fellow lab to play with is awesome.
They are both beautiful @glugster wishing little Daisy well in her new home, with new friends, too soon she will be trained and ready to move on again.
