Do ostriches tuck their heads into the ground ?!

Everyone thinks that ostriches tuck their heads in the ground when they perceive a danger. You see it in movies, comics, in the popular culture.

It is a very old myth dating (1st century), when Pliny the elder wrote:
"Ostriches are the most stupid animals in the world. They think they are invisible by plunging their heads into the sand. "

Almost 2000 years later, we still believe in it. 😨
