Naked Chickens

Naked chicken is a type of chicken that does not have feathers, which comes from cross breeding between broiler chickens with neck chicken without hair.

The purpose of this crossing is to be able to create chickens that can be cultivated in areas or countries that have a warm climate. Not only that with the aim to cultivate the type of chicken, it is expected to create efficiency of the chicken farmers if they want to do slaughter. Because not have to bother to do the removal of feathers.

Unfortunately there are disadvantages for this type of birds. Where if they do mating activities, they can not keep the balance to pack the wings that are caused not having the feather. And these poultry tend to be susceptible to disease attacks such as skin diseases, parasites, changes in temperature and sunburn. Because it has no hair that can protect the body.
