Animalphotography - The Nesting Swans in the Boston Public Gardens
The Boston Public Gardens and the Boston Common are side by side in Boston and provide an expansive green space for people to enjoy.
The common was created in 1634. It was America’s first public park. It was practical and pastoral with walkways built for crosstown travel.
The Public Garden was the first botanical garden created in the US and was established in 1837, it is decorative with meandering pathways.
I gather from some research that the swans spend the winter at the Franklin Zoo and are returned to the park in May every year. Their nesting area is fenced off so people can't get too close.
This is my entry for the #animalphotography competition initiated by @juliank.
