Elephants
Hey! So, you know how elephants are these massive, gentle giants? They're really fascinating creatures! They can weigh up to 14,000 pounds and stand about 10 to 13 feet tall at the shoulder. What’s super cool is that they have incredible memories; they can remember friends and places for years! Elephants are also very social animals, living in tight-knit family groups led by a matriarch, usually the oldest female. They communicate using a range of sounds, some of which are so low that we can't even hear them! Plus, they play a crucial role in their ecosystems, helping to shape the landscape by knocking down trees and creating water holes for other animals. Isn’t it amazing how such big animals can have such a big impact on their environment?
