Kakatua jambul kuning atau dalam nama ilmiahnya Cacatua sulphurea merupakan burung berukuran sedang, dengan panjang sekitar 35 cm, dari marga Cacatua. Burung ini hampir semua bulunya berwarna putih dan di kepalanya terdapat jambul berwarna kuning yang dapat ditegakkan. Kakatua jambul kuning berparuh hitam, kulit di sekitar matanya berwarna kebiruan dan kakinya berwarna abu-abu. Bulu-bulu terbang dan ekornya juga berwarna kuning. Burung betina hampir serupa dengan burung jantan.
