Bird Cucak Rawa that almost extinct.

Swampy pyke (Pycnonotus zeylanicus) is a kind of twitter bird originating from the Pycnonotidae family. In English this bird is called by the name Strawheaded Bulbul because it has a pale yellow straw head.
The people of Aceh call this bird by the name of Berjuk Bale, Sundanese people call this bird with Cangkurawah while in Java language called Cucak swamp (Javanese language) which is the most recognized name of the many regional designations in Indonesia. Birds of cucak rawa belong to the tribe Merbah or cucak-cucakan. Merbah word derived from the Malay language refers to some birds chirping in the bushes that have dull fur. For example bentet, tepus, pelanduk, and others. Some examples of birds that are members of the merbah tribe are Cucak mountain (P bimaculatus), Cucak kutilang (P. aurigaster), Empuloh beard (Alophoixus bres), Yellow Cucak (P. melanicterus), Merbah bamboo (P. plumosus) and Merbah cerukcuk (P. plumosus) P. goiavier).
The birds that come from the merbah tribe have several different designations for each region in Indonesia. For example, cucak for Java and surrounding areas. Tempulu ', empuruk, tempuruk, empulu', pampulu, and empuloh for Malay-language titles in Sumatra and Kalimantan. Cucak swamp is one of the birds that many birds like by bird lovers because they have unique and distinctive sounds so that these birds are usually included into the race of birds. Currently the population of the swamp species is still Vulnerable (endangered) so that the swamps are increasingly hard to find in the wild, especially on the island of Java.
Type.
In IUCN Redlist this bird has a vulnerable status, while CITES includes this bird in the Appendix II list. In Indonesia this bird has 27 species and the most area is in western part of Indonesia. Until now there are 2 species that spread to Sulawesi and Lombok. There are also species that spread to the Moluccas namely lophoixus affinis (golden Brinji) Birds aged around millions of years has developed into nine different subspecies. For example P bimaculatus (Cucak mountain), P. plumosus (Merbah bamboo), Alophoixus bres (Empuloh beard), P. melanicterus (Cucak yellow), P. aurigaster (Cucak kutilang), and P. goiavier (Merbah cerukcuk).
Habitat.
Cucak swamp birds found in swamp areas, river areas and on the edge of the forest. These birds often hide among the leaves of the bush so often we do not see his form, but can only hear his voice is loud and distinctive. Cucakrawa birds come from Southeast Asia where the area spreads in the lowlands and hills in Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Myanmar and Indonesia. This bird goes to Indonesia through Kalimantan, Sumatra and West Java. These swamps live in the lowlands, secondary forests, and wetlands such as swamps, rivers or mangroves in the lowlands to a height of 1,600 m asl. For now it is very difficult to find this bird living in the wild because of the massive poaching.
Food
Swallow birds need a feed that is able to meet the needs of vitamins and nutrients. Natural food of swamps are small insects, small forest chili, water snails, fruits of banyan tree, soft soft fruits such as bananas and papaya. Cucak swamps also require minerals as co-enzymes to generate additional energy, healing and growth. In addition, minerals also serves to balance body fluids, blood and bone formation, expedite cardiovascular system, and others. The minerals needed by the swamps are Iron, Phosphorus, Mangaan, Zinc, Iodine, Chlorine, Magnesium, Cuprum and Potassium.
