Hii friend steemit... This is time i introduce indonesia original animal, this animal type lizard, and is the biggest lizard in world, and only exist in the country of Indonesia, the animal is named Komodo.
Komodo dragons are carnivores and scavengers and are carnivores. Adult Komodo dragons are dull brown, dark gray, or reddish, while young ones are greenish with yellow and black stripes. Komodo (Varanus komodoensis) is the largest of all species of lizards.

Komodo has a round muzzle, strong legs, and a muscular tail. They have territory but rarely fight to defend it. Komodo has a long yellowish-colored tongue and sharp teeth. As well as having adequate sight and hearing but relying more on olfaction to detect potential prey.

Komodo dragons season usually lasts during July and August, females dig soil to lay eggs that can amount up to 30 grains. the eggs are then covered with leaves and silent mains above it to aid the hatching process. about 8 months, the eggs then hatch and the parent no longer cares for her baby. Komodo dragon newly hatched has 37 cm length

Young Komodo eat small prey like lizards, snakes, and small mammals. While the adult dragons prey on larger animals such as deer, buffalo, and pigs. They also eat carcasses.
Komodo length ranges from 1.8 to 2.7 meters weighing about 75 kg, Komodo sexually reproduce, Komodo inhabit the islands in Indonesia such as Komodo Island, Flores, Rinca, and Padar. Komodo habitat consists of tropical savannah forest, lowland open habitat, beach, and dry river.
