Hog slaughtering for a woman. Isn't it tough?

in #animal7 years ago

I've never been to other country since birth. So one of my life's wish lists is to go abroad and try for a job to visit other country and explore its culture. In order to make my wish become a reality, I enrolled in a technical course that would help me go to other places, specifically Canada or New Zealand. I enrolled in TESDA's Slaughtering Operations National Certificate II.

Most of the students are male, only few are female. I realized that this course is a really tough one. But i didn't gave up. I tested myself on how tough I am. During our OJT period, I did mistakes, wounded my own self, felt tired and exhausted, and released a lot of sweats but it did not stop me from wanting to learn and become skilled.

I learned a lot in this training. I learned how to slaughter a hog properly. All of the steps are quite challenging but thanks to our mentor and my kind classmates, everything was learnt and we did enjoyed and had fun together. All of us worked as a team and helped each other. And it made our training a memorable one.

The following pictures are the proper steps that I've learned during our training. (please do enjoy viewing the photos)

Slaughtering a hog is not an easy thing but I really did persevere to learn and to have good experiences. That is why I was awarded with "Skills Award"during our graduation ceremony. And I am so happy and thankful with it. Its the fruit of my handwork.

I am now working double time to earn and have the money to pay for the IELTS examination fee because it is one of the many application requirements that is needed to be presented during the interview. I am hoping that this dream will come true.

Good luck to me. Aja!

By the way, a million thanks for visiting ang reading my blog. :)
