The Journey Begins
Having gone through elementary, primary school or grade school you have learned to think about things a certain way. A large percentage of those who will stumble upon this site will have been educated in a classroom environment with desks, chalkboard, and a teacher in the front of the room. Typically, the information shared is from a textbook, some practical examples and then a test. We tend to place our value on the things taught to us and the individuals who we saw as authorities on the various subjects.
The paradigm switch for this journey is that the wisdom you should attain is not found in an authority or an expert on the subject. The healing and lessons taught will come from within. The facilitator will be the planet and the earth we reside on. It is our purpose to help you to gain the wisdom of the ancients. The journey begins as an initiate being born from a world of technology and synthetic environments, toward a true human experience.
Defining and claiming the meaning of an ancient culture is not conclusive. There is little way to definitively determine that a certain ancient culture behaved, believed, and lived a certain way. We have small fragments of data that provide theoretical claims and hypothesis’ that lead us to conclude certain ways. A good example of this is the modern way of following the path of the Druids. An ancient culture that had little to no written record. We draw conclusions based on what little information we have in the physical world. We have cultures in the near past 10,000 or so years, who have descendants such as first nation American tribes that can provide clues to how our ancient ancestors may have lived.
We therefore must invoke our physical senses to draw conclusions about the sustainable way of living that came from our ancient ancestors. The use of ancient records, stories, scientific geological evidence. However, we also have other senses outside the physical that we can utilize to refine our definition of what our wise ancient ancestors’ way of life was about. The Earth herself can communicate to us how life was for many eons. The Sun, Moon, Planets, and Stars provide insight and clues into how the ancients may have thought and lived.
Therefore, this site (ancientearthways.com) aims to provide insight and seeks to continually update it’s perspective on how our ancient earth ancestors lived and try to pattern our modern life after those ways that make sense in our current situation. We also hope to provide added insight into their past understanding with our advancements we have achieved. It could also be understood that many ancient cultures were more advanced than us in many ways.
