I've always seen anarchists oppose government, and they usually have some pretty good criticisms. But I've never seen a good, realistic description of what they expect society to be like when that's gone.
And along with these criticisms often come criticisms of corporations. But capitalism will thrive under anarchy, especially the worst capitalist entities with huge negative externalities. Things like gangs and mafia would love it if government were gone, and would probably take it's place.
@jrkirby government is a gang and a mafia. Take away th monopoly on currency and the whole game changes. Eventually we outgrow currency and go full cooperation, if for no other reason than people will find out how much easier it is not competing all the time. Most anarchists can't see this, but money is a bigger religion than government.
