Libertarians and anarchists alike seek a common ground when it comes to the police force - privatization.
The arguments against public protection are endless. They are funded involuntarily. They have lawful immunity in more cases than not. They essentially investigate themselves in cases of public outcry. Police are essentially the physical manifestation of the state. They enforce the arbitrary dictates of corrupted officials. They steal more in civil asset forfeiture and citations than all other criminal activity combined. They are not required to actually protect anyone.

Anything that isn't a monopoly is likely to be better than the police, which of course are a monopoly. Didn't we learn that monopolies are bad even in government school?
Like pizza places, they should only come out when called. Even then they should be private companies too without double standards or special protections.
