Prepare for the Unexpected in the of Fall 2016?

The Jubilee Year is Coming to an End are You Prepared Just in Case of...?

All around us it seems the world is in upheaval! It has been just over 12 months since the stock market crash of 2015 occurred. Last year when Jeff of The Dollar Vigilante made the prediction I was in awe as he made a near flawless prediction. Like many of you something like the Shemitah made little sense to me prior to the prediction.

A year later and we are coming to the ultimate crescendo. The violins are being played at an increasing and more violent pace. The chaos around us seems to be increasing so much that I have actually become calloused to the daily news on social media. What would have been headline news for weeks just a few years ago is lasting less than 24 hours before something new happens.

I have to admit that I actually prefer having awakened from my stupor. Prior to 2006 I would have been walking around in fear due to not understanding the events going on around me. We all know many who prefer to stay asleep. My awakening due to people like Peter Schiff, Mike Maloney, Jeff Berwick, Tekoa Da Silva and Dr. Ron Paul have strengthened me mentally to the point where I no longer have fear about what happens in the economy and the world Geo-Politically.

We Could Be in the Midst of a Very Difficult Time for the World.

I am not going to sugarcoat it for you. The coming months and years may be quite a trying time for us all. The world economy looks like it is going to go through a reset. Whenever we have a global reset economically it takes a few years to get running optimally.

There are some things that you can do to protect yourself and your families. I am not a Prepper myself but I believe in what they teach. We should all prep for emergency events. Thankfully I made the move to Panama over five years ago! My recommendations are mostly for those of you living in Europe, Canada and the United States. I personally have lived like this since 2008. Peace of mind is always a good thing.

  1. Have some cash on hand.
  2. Own some silver bullion and maybe some gold bullion.
  3. Stock up on canned goods and dry goods like rice, flour and nuts.
  4. Arm yourself, even a high-powered pellet gun can come in handy.
  5. Own Bitcoin and store it in an offline device like a Trezor.
  6. A means to stay warm during the winter season.
  7. Plenty of Water.

Now my list may be super simplified for my Prepper friends but this list is based on a temporary reset. I have no idea if anything will happen but it pays to be prepared in the event something does.

Always Be Prepared for the Unknown.

I grew up in a family that always had a giant garden, hunted, canned and were carpenters. I take for granted that my family taught me so much. Sometimes we forget that there are people around us that have zero survival skills. These are the people that we have to worry about in a reset. These folks will be desperate and will not think twice about hurting others.

If You Want a Picture of What Can Happen, Just Imagine Black Friday on Steroids.

Believe me you don't want to be heading out into public during times of desperation. If you think ahead you can avoid what will inevitably be a very difficult time.

All I Know is That I Know Nothing.

Now everything that has been predicted could turn out to be utter BS. In this instance the little bit of work you did to protect yourself and your family will have gone a long way to help you sleep better at night. I personally have had piece of mind for over a decade.

Once you realize that everything around you is meant to keep you under control, then you have been liberated. So Break yourself out of the matrix and take responsibility for your own life and security. It is amazing how great life can be when your mind is free.

Don't forget to follow me, I follow back 100%.

Sort:

dont forget to add honey, peanut butter, beans, and coconut oil to your food stocks. they all store well and add nutritional variety to your preps

make your decision as to whether it's better to bug in or bug out, but ALWAYS prep a bugout kit for your entire family group for the worst circumstance

good post, hil

Thank you Steve! I am a Bug In type but I totally understand those who have to get out of big metro areas. They have a little extra work to do.

yep, like the car...I keep the car packed

Nothing will happen, I've been alive long enough to know that every year is the end of the world. Yes an economic crash could happen, yes there's political uncertainty in the US, tell me something new.

And unless you build an actual fortress you won't stand a chance. Bill Burr said better: "all you are doing is gathering supplies for the toughest guy in the block".

Maybe I'm just tired of hearing "gringos" panicking, I'm from a third world country that faced many crisis so I'm no strange to shortages, looting, blackouts and the military patrolling the streets.

My advise is to not own a store, you can definitely lose everything if there's temporary chaos. Other than that if you have enough savings the world will resume soon enough, don't worry :)

I am a Gringo in a Latin land so I feel pretty secure. ; )

I am a chuzhdenets in slavland and i think this is parallel.

I would start building that fortress ASAP then. Your heads will be displayed at the next parade, disregard my previous advise and stock up! :)

Or you could spare a dime towards helping me continue to organise this network system, where the stores of supplies can become mobile, the people who move it around don't know where the store is, every active member walking around and seeing things can help gather intelligence of movements of would be maurauders, and not only that, pool funds to hire security operators to surveil, map, identify weak points and destroy the threats.

That is a great idea, very interesting indeed. You confuse me with someone who has money though, go ask some "gringos". I heard some ANCAPs here have a lot of it!

It never happens until it does.

I look at it this way; if you prepare now for the above scenario that more and more people are expecting (thus it becomes more real an occurrence), you are not only breaking from the consume now and don't worry about tomorrow, but you even prepare for your old age.

How many older people have trouble with finances later in life, where their income no longer handles the inflation? If you had stores of cheaper goods, this would not have as great an affect.

We all should prepare as every generation before us has... what makes anyone think we are so special we can break from this natural and necessary instinct.

Keep it coming @hilarski

Absolutely, it is just a wise thing to do.

I love your heading. Sums it up for me. This done and gloom talk is difficult for someone who considers the sled an optimist.

Yup, it is not like we are doing something new. Our ancestors did it for thousands of years. People today have just become complacent.

I too have been sounding the alarm.
It is no joke. I really believe that there is trouble on the horizon...
Take care there.
:D

You also Cody, it never hurts.

It's a scary thought what could Happen, I always keep my cupboards stocked

Me too Karen, I have watched my Mom do it since I was a child. I swear she has enough for a year not to mention the garden.

My girls laugh at me as I never run out I always have a few extras put away just incase I stock up on everything lol

币价不值钱了,网站也开始降温了。

I agree that being prepared can give you the peace to enjoy your life.

Hi @hilarski, a few others who I highly recommend people to follow if they don't already, are - Noam Chomsky, John Pilger, Gerald Celente, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts and Dane Wiggington.

You've you've awakened, you only tune in to the truth.

Ready and good to go! We can always go ice fishing until winter is over. :-)
