If Government Dissapears...
You hear the argument every day from statists that if the government would disappear tomorrow, there will be chaos and gangs would form and terrorize everyone. Well it's the most redundant, and silly argument that you can imagine, statists surely haven't put much thought in it, so let's debunk it.
So let's see what would happen in this scenario:
1. Government disappears in 3....2.....1.....
2. Local criminals hold a meeting and decide to start a gang and organize their crime. Since there is no police, surely nobody would stand up against their criminal activities.
3. They start looting people, robbing them, mugging them, burglary, extortions, kidnappings, violence, and this goes on...
4. One crime boss decides that this is not efficient, if everyone is looted, nothing is produced, so they can't steal it. So instead of robbing people, they do a more conservative approach, they establish a territory for their gang that they will protect, and so does every other gang, draws their own territory.
5. They will start demanding protection money from businesses inside their territory, and in return they will protect the business from other gangs that try to extort them.
6. The gangs get greedy, so they start warring with each other, to gain control over the entire area.
7. One gang emerges supreme, and consolidates all power in that zone, all the territories now belong to their boss.
8. Due to fear from citizens revolting, they try to make public opinion better about their gang, so they will use euphemisms.
9. Instead of taking protection money, they will call it taxation, and will make businesses fill out a form, and do certain ceremonies to legitimize the extortion.
10. They will establish offices to keep track of the money, and where businesses will have to register themselves.
11. They will hire lawyers to invent the "social contract" and to legitimize the monopoly of the gang over that territory.
12. The crime boss will move behind scenes to be less public, and make the system more democratic, the people living in the gang territory can now elect the gang captains, who will represent them in the criminal syndicate.
13. Citizens will demand healthcare and pensions. The gang will start issuing it's own currency and starts printing it, doing many schemes with it to provide this service for "free".
14. Citizens demand better protection, so the gang soldiers will start wearing blue uniforms and badges and call themselves "community police".
Hmmm? Something is fishy here.....Isn't this a government?

Hahahahaha, how morons are these statists. So they have just literally described how a government is formed, and the path to the monopoly on violence that the government holds.

Yes, literally, this is the answer. It is indeed the worst thing that can happen. But until people demand other people to rule over them, this cycle will last forever.
A person only becomes truely free, if it realizes that this circular logic is the only wall between freedom and slavery.

It is indeed, every honest person fears gangs and violence, but they fail to realize that a gang is a baby government, and if there is no bigger government in that area to stop it's growth, it will grow to a full government, since there is no opposition.
