    You're not missing any argument. Open borders is the only fully consistent libertarian stance. All arguments to the contrary appeal to potential violence, utilitarian rational or are disingenuous obfuscations of libertarian principles.

      I think there is a minarchist case for closed borders. But I definitely do not think the case is applicable for there being a libertarian stance for be against sanctuary cities.
