RE: I Have To Speak Up About Ben Farmer and Adam Kokesh

I appreciate your idealism and passion with regards to this although I think that energy would be better spent exercising your freedom and preparing for what's to come.

I've had long discussions with my sister about the impotence of her political activity both before and during the Sanders campaign. She has strong socialist beliefs that stem from her kind heart. She does as much good as she can in her life and believes that her purpose on Earth is to help other people. She has been until very recently a firm believer in "the system," that it is in place to serve the people's needs. This does not reflect my beliefs at all and I've referenced this phenominon in my post, Extreme Altruism and the Psychopathic Brain. I'm not one to favor protecting the weak or those who lack survival skills, but my sister knows I'd be there to protect her if she was ever threatened.

You still appear to believe that "the system" can still function, that it is supposed to insure your personal freedom and your "right" to acquire property and rise in status above those who are unable or choose not to participate. The US does not function as a national entity the way it did during it's formation and its westward expansion of appropriation and genocide of the original inhabitants. Those ideals worked when government was small and ineffectual and pioneers were left to their own devices, unhindered by regulation. In an overpopulated, resource-depleted world, those rules no longer apply. National sovereignty is a thing of the past. Check out my recent post on Ronald Bernard to see what we're really up against. Watch all 5 videos and then get back to me.

You talk of corpus delicti and voir dire. That might work in an uncorrupted government, but the US Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and even most of that is currently ignored. The system hasn't benefited the people for over a hundred years.

But if all you have is bullshit fatalism, and "It's hopeless!" comments, then you deserve to be called out for being a non-contributing, useless fuck.

Quite the opposite. The "useless fuck" is the one rearranging the deck chairs or putting window dressing on the port hole to frame in that beautiful iceberg in the distance, 90 percent of which is below the surface and crushing the hull of the ship. The boat is unsinkable, after all. The one's slapping people awake to get to the lifeboats and put on the life jackets are the only ones who will make a difference. If you play a rigged game with rules someone else made up all you will ever do is lose.

I've been aware of Kokesh since he led rallies and smoked pot out in the open to protest marijuana laws. I remember Abby Hoffmann giving speeches at anti-war rallies in the 70s. Both of these guys love to be in the limelight. They crave recognition and that is their major motivation. Not that bringing attention to problems that need to be addressed is a bad thing. I just wouldn't want someone like that as president. In fact, anyone who would even consider becoming president probably should not be president. They are all puppets and they are not sane.

Besides, if Opra or Dwayne Johnson (the Rock) ran against him, he'd surely lose. The political naivete of Americans is such that I'd bet Opra could beat just about anyone.

I understand your convictions and frustrations. You want the country to be they way they told you it was your entire life. It was a lie. I'm sorry.

I'm sure that I won't sway you toward my views and you certainly won't sway me toward yours. Let's not get in a pissing contest. Thank you for your frank and honest opinion. I will happily defend to the death your right to it.
