The Great Nazi Purge

One of the most fundamental rights we have as human beings is the right to free speech, particularly political speech which is unpopular. For decades, Anarcho-Capitalists and various forms of Libertarians have been on the front lines of defending this right even when it comes to those who espouse the ideals of racism, White Nationalism, and National Socialism. Our defense of this freedom has often come at the expense of the public perception of our movement. Of course, as principled people, we are accustomed to the fallacious logic of those willing to either chide or co-opt our cause insofar as it is convenient for their political agenda. However, the time has come for us to exercise one of our other basic human rights, the freedom of association.

Our love and defense for freedom of speech has often been taken out of context by leftists and the media as a tongue-in-cheek approval of racist idealism. This is the problem we know about and often choose to ignore because, for one, there is no arguing with someone accusing you of a thought crime. Once a person has concluded that you adhere to an ideology they find reprehensible, there is precious little that can be done to convince them otherwise. Instead of groveling at the hands of their intellectual and emotional blackmail, the principled thing to do is explain your perspective and move on.

This dynamic has created a massive elephant in the room for those genuinely interested in meaningful freedom. Over the past few years, many of us in the liberty movement have found common ground with those in the so-called, “Alt-Right” in our disdain for Communism and Socialism. However, this commonality is often misinterpreted by some latent racists and Neo-Nazis as a green light of approval for their disgraceful beliefs, much in the same way the left has done. Perhaps this is our own fault in the sense that, in my approximation, we have spent so much more time defending free speech and bashing communists than reminding White Nationalists that their beliefs are the ideological equivalent of human excrement.

I get it, we want to win and we need numbers. We want to ideologically cleanse the world of all adherence to statist and authoritarian systems. When you see a group of Antifa idiots running down the street tipping over trash cans, smashing up Starbucks windows, and unironically using the term “bourgeoisie” it feels like we’re losing. It’s easy to want to ally with anyone who recognizes Communism for the concentrated evil that it is. Its simply high time that we take a definitive stand against our enemies on the far right and remind the world of what we stand for.

Anarcho-Capitalism is separate and apart from the “Left-Right” paradigm. It’s a beautiful ideology that states peaceful people should have the right to live as they please and be free from violence. It’s a bastion of freedom and logic in the vast abyss of slavery and sophistry. The shining beacon of hope for those who have seen the light and recognize statism as the most evil and destructive force on the face of the planet. For all who have seen the lies of collectivism and seek the truth, we must hold strong to our principles and stand up for ourselves against these threats or else risk losing any and all credibility.

So here, I will say it once and for all with every ounce of conviction in my body: Nazis, White Nationalists, White Separatists, and all other right-wing authoritarians… Kindly, fuck off. You do not represent us. We do not support your cause. Do not try to associate yourselves with our movement. If you claim to be one of us but secretly identify with one of these ideologies, please show yourself the door. We will defend your right to free speech and nothing more.
