Unite the Clans Against Statism
Divide and conquer has long been a tactic used by statists to destabilize the freedom movement. And what an effective strategy it is! Our entire movement is based around individualism and freedom - of course we’ll have some easily exploitable differences of opinion about... just about everything. That’s precisely the point.
We don’t all like one another. We don’t all agree on strategies, tactics, messaging, or even goals. We are individuals who don’t like to be told what to do and don’t readily acquiesce to compromise or diplomacy.
And we are not going to defeat the statists by tearing one another down.
We only have a chance as one, United freedom movement. We only have a chance in hell by working together. We will all hang together, or we will most assuredly hang separately. Understand that we are all human, we all make mistakes, and we should all give one another the benefit of the doubt. We must.
I am calling for Unity. And I am starting with myself. I, too, have engaged in these intra-movement conflicts at times and, for that, I apologize.
I have seen the real enemy... and it isn’t us. The enemy is anyone who wants to use the violence of government to screw over his neighbor. The enemy is anyone who convinces the masses that 900 military bases outside of our borders is “defense.” The enemy is anyone who perpetuates a war against our own people, including the war on drugs.
And the enemy has us vastly outflanked.
The enemy takes money from our paychecks before we even receive them. The enemy tells us what to think, what to do, and how to feel. The enemy creates policies which turn our law enforcement into meddling monsters. The enemy takes our children from us. The enemy imprisons more people now than any government ever has throughout all of the history of mankind. The enemy is big, centralized government.
And the enemy is formidable. It is the largest empire the world has ever seen.
We must unite.
We are not all the same. We are diverse in both background and preferences. But we all stand for liberty. And in the name of Liberty, let us all unite.

The good news is: the enemy doesn't have the truth. And because of that, they will not prevail.
Right on!
Good pep talk. You're right it's more than just the USA government. All centralized instruments of power have an interest in seeing this movement squashed.
Truth!
But united we cannot do anything worthwhile! Unity is good if you intend to use force. But as peaceful people we should instead try to spread the message of liberty far and wide, and empower people to serve themselves. Unity, after all, can be alienating to the outsiders. And we are not free until the outsiders are free.
dont think that was the idea of the post. I think it is exactly what you say, spread the message and do not waste our energy on attacking each other.
Unity is also good to defend ourselves. The time might come when the state will attack us and when that happens we have to help each other.
I simply urge caution. The founding fathers were all libertarian, but established a decentralized state, founded on the violence of the revolution. We must assure that modern libertarianism does not suffer the same mistake.
that's sort of the problem with anarchists and libertarians, you can never get two of them to agree on what that means exactly.
Do they need to?
only if they want one of them to get elected to something
Libertarians might, but anarchists certainly won't, so there shouldn't be any quarrel.
Yes lets all unite. We do have good chances, liberty is the only concept that brings people with very different opinions together.
Dont matter if your right or left, old or young, religious or atheist, man or women, .....
As long as you are against the use of force to tell others how they have to live, you are welcome.
We may even hate each other, but freedom allows us to work together to reach a common goal. After that we will be more than happy to go seperate ways ;)
Doesn't matter if one is "right or left"? uhhh, those people LIVE to utilze force in their dealings and desires. Are you kidding? Oh, you Kumbayah libertarians... so friggin' lost at times. Now, I would say we could unite as "NAPsters" under certain strategies to rally up support for Adam's run for president. Let's begin asking your social circle to read or hear his Freedom! book. Ask them to give it an honest shot, at least until 8:05, and if they think it sucks, oh, well. If they like it, we ask them to do the same thing to their social circle. Either way, ask them to get back to you with their appraisal. Have you read the book, f3.0?
What's your take on it? How will you persuade your friends to listen to it and then offer appraisal?
Of course the political left and right are both trash authoritarianism. I was not referring to them, I was talking about personal left or right-wing ideologies. As with most systems, the common people do not follow something that is obviously evil. Successful ideologies typically have a good root that is just perverted.
So by personally left I think of people that want to help the poor and by personally right I think of guys that want to live and protect their culture. I see no reason why any of this would be opposed to the idea of liberty.
I guess I am a Kumbayah libertarian though. Does not mean we have different goals. We all want to be free.
thank you for the clarification. I didn't see that when reading it, whatsoever. Yes. the desires of the "left and right" in the context with which you describe can certainly be taken care of under NAPster-driven society. But don't expect these two wingTips to work together. I had nothing but trouble in Nevada in 1988 while Ron Paul's campaign coordinator, attempting this. "Conservative" (albeit hadcore constitutionalists) Mormons wanted NOTHING to do with the proChoice girls and the bongSucking boys... and that was in Vegas where "anything goes" is acceptable to "normies". Just don't expect them to work together!
You're not the boss of me!
Sadly even united we are too few. People dont like freedom and individualism. It is icky and full of nasty responsability
It's so interesting....
thanks for sharing...
carry on dear
We must unite. The enemy is big, centralized government.
