Network Part II: Not Going to Take it Anymore
So you’re pissed off at the state of our country, but what are you going to do about it? Well if you care what I have to say, and the fact that you’re reading this leads me to believe that you do, I’ve got some advice for you.
A brief disclaimer first, this is not legal advice. This is illegal advice. Most of the things I’m going to recommend are against the law in your jurisdiction. If you are happy to live a docile life of quiet acceptance of the status quo, stop reading right now. If you don’t want to stick your neck out that is your prerogative, but as a great man once said: “Never was a great thing achieved without danger.”
I argued last week that the entire purpose of the government/corporate power structure is to maximize the efficiency of the fleecing of the people by international financial cartels. How can you avoid exposure to the systemic theft of taxation, inflation, and regulation? Alternative currencies. Trading and saving with alternative currencies such as silver, gold, and Bitcoin can help keep you, and your assets, outside the clutches of the corporatocracy.
What’s next? Arm yourself. Arm yourself while you can. Every time a gun crime is committed in this country there are politicians waiting to twist it into an excuse to disarm the populace, unless that gun crime is committed by our police, then it’s a “tragic accident.” It’s time that we start at least imagining the possibility of a Hillary Clinton presidency, and what it could mean for our freedom, especially our right to bear arms. I suggest that you buy a firearm and train yourself to use it. If you already own a firearm and you are proficient in its use, I suggest you buy a bigger firearm and train yourself in its use. Then train someone you care about to operate both. Go out and buy the guns, ammo, and magazines that they’re going to ban next year.
The dangers posed to our liberties by the conservative side of the aisle are no less. As Trump, Rubio, and the rest of the bumbling idiots trip over each other to appeal to the racist, homophobic, jingoistic far right, they’ve promised to turn the cause of civil liberties back by decades. Smoke your marijuana, get your same sex marriage license, and cross that border now, before one of these fascists comes to take your fundamental rights away from you.
The most important advice I can give you is: Be free. Be an example. Take a stand for what’s right and forget about what’s legal. The Demopublican bureaucrats can’t take your freedoms if you don’t give them up. Politicians make empty promises, only YOU can defend your own freedoms from their ever encroaching tyranny.
The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.
