Diary of my American life (1)-First entry

Today is my 17th day after moving to the U.S. I decided to write something to recored my life here .My english is not so good .So I have to practise .Maybe my english diary looks silly.I'm sure it can be a good advanced of my english.
Sep 25th I flyied from beijing directly to Detroit and entry the United States from here .My visa is a little weird that I didn't get any immigration package from guangzhou embassy .So it stucked me two times .The immigration officer asked me at least three times "do you have anything to give me ?""you only have these papers for me ?" "Are you sure ?" I'd like to give him my immigration package ,but I do not have any .

Finally ,he asked his colleague to take me to the office . Then after waiting for 15 minutes ,the officer asked to get my backpack and go with him .I thought something wrong with my visa .When we walked outside the office ,he stopped and gave me my passport and said bye to me .I was shocked and left like a stupid .Then I got my two big suitcases and waiting for customs inspection somewhere ,but I didn't find any place to check them. I just left with all the other people .I found all the people put their suitcases to a belt that went to the second floor .I did the same thing ,but I was thinking where did my suitcases go and where can I get them to check in again during the time I was waiting for the secuirty check .
After finishing all these check ,I can't find my suitcases and I thought they were lost .So I asked a Chinese couple where these suitcases gone?They were so sweet and told me "Don't worried ,your suitcases just checked in ." wow ,amazing .that's good for me .I did't have to push a heavy cart and went somewhere to check in again .
I walked around in the Detroit airport .It was so big and it took me long time to find out where is my gate .Then I walked around and got a muffin to eat (not yummy ).
I think it is enough for now .I will play racket ball and cook some chicken snacks later .Keep writing something later.
