ANCIENT EGYPTIAN SPIRITUAL BOOKS

Responding to a comment, "ancient Egyptians had no bible."

There are many spiritual books of ancient Egypt and the bible is liberally borrowing from them; Egyptian Book of the Dead where we find the kingdom of Heavens within, Instructions of Amenemope that are similar to the Book of Proverbs, Tale of Two Brothers is similar to story of Joseph and Potiphar' wife, the Moses story and the Aaru reed marshes of Ra's abode, Egyptian Oracle of the Potter, Hor Book of Breathing: An Egyptian document that Joseph Smith described as the "Book of Abraham", Ta-sherit-Min Book of the Dead: An Egyptian document that Joseph Smith described as the "Book of Joseph", Amenhotep Book of the Dead: An Egyptian document that was partially translated as a history of a princess. Also the biblical stories set in Egypt; The exodus of the Hebrews, The selling of Joseph into slavery, The flight of Joseph and Mary to save Jesus from Herod, The Turin King List, The Hymn to the Aten found in book of Psalms, The Amduat, The Ebers Papyrus, The Edwin Smith Papyrus, The Westcar Papyrus, The Tale of Sinuhe, The Instructions of Ptahhotep, The Coffin Texts, The Pyramid Texts, etc.

Bible is not one book but a library of books, Ethiopian bible alone is 88 books. Ancient Egyptians had whole library of spiritual scriptures that have sustained the Egyptian empire for thousands of years. Greeks and Romans have been deeply influenced by ancient Egyptian culture and have sent their brightest minds to Egypt to be initiated into the ancient mysteries tradition.
