Being a tourist is amazing, you come for a couple of days to a new city, get a chance to meet someone new, get a chance to explore new things and
then when you finish with your vacation you head back home happy and thrilled you have spent a couple of days seeing something amazing, special and
something you will never again experience in that way. That is the most fun of all. All cities have amazing attraction,
there are places all around the world that have so much to offer to the tourists. One of does cities is Maracaibo, which is located in Venezuela.
It is really a special city that brings out the best in this country. It has it all. But most important you can have so much fun and enjoy the hot weather.
The city is famous for its hot climate, and that is why you will need a place to cool down for a bit.
The attraction you will have to visit, so you can cool down, it’s the famous Aquamania. It is huge! Around 25,000 square meters, which is 270,000 sq ft.
As you can guess, it is a water park! It is located inside a public park of the city which is known as “La Vereda del Lago”.

It is one of the two water parks in Venezuela, and it is the only water park in the west of the country.
When you get there, you will see various facilities such as swimming pools for infants, children, adults, tents, parasols, eating facilities, gift shop and so much more.
The interesting part is that the pool contains a series of interactive games centered on the culture of the Caribbean, there are 9 slides, and there is a collection of small fountains.
There is a lot to see and try! It has two body-slides and 2 raft-slides, but if you thought that is it… it is not, besides all this, there is a major attraction in the park…
it is the Catatumbo! It is a slow river with a wave system and fountains, and there are two passages through the river,
one is intended to be relaxing while the other provides a more exciting experience. If you are coming with children, don’t worry, there are lifeguards all around the waterpark.
