The horizontal ones are made from black marble, and the vertical ones are made from travertine marble. The horizontal walls have bronze statues of heroes like Simon Bolivar, Rafael Urdaneta, Luis Brion, and many more. Names of heroes of the four battles of the independence of the Bolivarian countries are carved in the monoliths.

Its design is inspired by the neoclassical style of architecture. The complex houses fountains, gardens, large glasses as planters, water mirrors, etc. and is used by the local population for their evening walks, jogging, and cycling.
