Sybil Attack

Sybil attack was proposed by John R. Douceur in the 2002 article "Sybil Attack", which describes an attack on peer-to-peer (P2P) networks. Here is how the attack happens: an attacker uses a single node to forge multiple identities in a P2P network, reducing network redundancy, network robustness, and monitoring or interfering with normal network activity.

For a Sybil attack to happen in a peer-to-peer network, a single node must be able to take on multiple identities, and the account generates a large number of nodes to influence the result of voting. However, Ambr's equity allocation is based on the assets owned by the account, so the Sybil attack cannot be done on the Ambr system.
