The Captain of Queen Mary 2 standing on the ship's bow
A photographer had the great idea to place the Captain on the ship's bow for the 10th anniversary of Queen Mary 2 in 2015.
Looking at this image it doesn't look so bad or frightening. It almost looks a bit photoshopped.
Now switch positions of the camera man and this beauty appears.

It looks like they cleaned the bow up so it wouldn't be as slippery.
I agree. I'm sure they did. Still won't be easy to stand for long without a good sense of balance.
