THE ISLAND OF THE CASCADE UNDER THE SEA.
When I read about Mauritius I can say without a doubt, that it is one of the most fascinating natural places on the planet, not for nothing, this destination has one of the highest rates of return of visitors in the world. It is located approximately 1,200 miles off the southeastern coast of Africa and its great attraction is that it has the illusion of an underwater waterfall on the southwestern tip of the island. The deceptive visual impression, created in the water due to the runoff of sand and silt deposits, is especially effective and impressive in aerial and even satellite shots.
Many of the charms of Mauritius are due to its privileged location, one of the most beautiful seas in the Indian Ocean, and its neighboring Seychelles, can verify this claim.
The Island Playa Perdida, as it is known in the world, has extensive white sand beaches that blend with a great vegetation of tropical jungle and mountains of volcanic origin, these characteristics highlight its privileged natural beauty.
Seen from another angle, the ocean is clearly only a spectacular range of blues, greens and whites, visually simulating a three-dimensionality sensation that submerges like a cascading waterfall. Although it has become clear that there is no roaring waterfall, there is still something very magical about the idea of a waterfall under water, especially since there is still a lot of ignorance about the oceans of our planet.
Mauritius can travel throughout the year since they have a warm climate for twelve months. This does not mean that one can suffer cyclones and hurricanes that bring rain, wind and weather in what months. In my opinion, the best months to visit the island are from March to June and from September to November, since in the months of December to February is the wet season with more rain and cyclone risks but with temperatures around 36 or 38 degrees with percentages of humidity that go up to 90%. On the other hand, in July and August we can find the coldest months with temperatures ranging from 18 to 26 degrees and with some anticyclone that contrary to Spain in bad weather.
The reason for this cataract:
This phenomenon is due to the underwater vegetation formed by a great barrier of coral and the way the currents circulate under water, this generates an optical effect and the illusion of a huge fall of water under the sea.
If you arrive to go do not forget to arrive with the desire to discover the island, wanting to interact with people and with local food.
And above all, enjoy every moment on the island.
Feliz dia¡! :)
