Although I am a XEM holder, I think it will not get to 1 USD this year. My guess is that XEM will be 0.50 USD from the point Catapult is released -in the NEM blockchain, which will take place after they release it in the Mijin project-.

For the One dollar each XEM I think it is needed that some othe rproject shows what it is possible to build in the NEM blockchain.
