1)CryptoCelebs: Famous people who’ve bought the cryptocurrency craze:
Cryptocurrencies are the latest craze sweeping the world, and it’s not just average Joes dropping their life savings for a piece of the action. Some of the most popular people in the world have used their money, celebrity, and immense social media followings to invest in or endorse cryptocurrency-based businesses and services.
A lot of the celebrity support for cryptocurrencies revolves around the Initial Coin Offerings (ICO) the cryptocurrency startups create. An ICO is a fundraising event where a cryptocurrency sells a percentage of that currency, in the form of tokens, to people in exchange for money to help get the cryptocurrency off the ground. A few words of praise from certain celebrities have helped numerous cryptocurrencies earn millions of dollars in funding.

3)The Bear Cycle is coming to an end
Despite Bitcoin’s recent and sharp correction, Morehead thinks everything is ultimately right on track. Using history as an indicator, he claims Bitcoin’s severe drop in price is actually totally normal. Additionally, he predicts Bitcoin will start rising in the next couple of weeks
Aside from sharing his expectations that Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market will start to climb by the end of February, Morehead additionally explained that institutional investors have barely even gotten involved in the market – leaving plenty of room for expansion. He explained:
There’s such an institutional appetite to get exposure to this. It’s a half a trillion dollar asset class that nobody owns. That’s a pretty wild circumstance. And it’s also only got a 0.1 percent correlation to the rest of the financial markets… And Bitcoin is still so under owned by institutional investors that it trades kind of at its own beat.

4)Is Darknet Done With Bitcoin?:
The backlogged queue on the Bitcoin network was making it difficult for some individuals in the underworld to conduct their business. This users transaction was logged so far back in the queue that it took several days for it to become verified. To combat double-spending attacks, most vendors on the Darknet adopted a rule requiring three confirmations before treating transactions as complete. Because a transaction cannot be complete until the payment has been confirmed, this user was effectively frozen out of conducting his “business.”
Although he was worried he would “miss out on this Christmas season,” his Christmas miracle was about to occur. To combat, the exuberant transaction fees that were increasing daily, vendors began accepting alternative payment options. The study found that Litecoin was the second most popular currency with 30 percent of all vendors accepting LTC, and Dash the third most popular currency, with 20 percent of all vendors accepting DASH.

IMO: Bitcoin only consists nearly 1% of all of the worlds money laundering in the world + its qite trackable so they should be using Monero or any other privacy coins.
5)A Pair of British Entrepreneurs Sold 50 Luxury Flats For Bitcoin In Dubai
Two entrepreneurs from the UK - the founder of the Ultimo lingerie brand baroness Michelle Mone and her billionaire partner Douglas Barrowman - have sold 50 luxury apartments in Dubai that they originally promised to put on offer for Bitcoin last September, according to a report published by Business Insider Feb. 10.
The $325 mln luxury development Aston Plaza and Residences was launched in Dubai in September 2017 and is set to be completed by 2020. Upon the announcement of the project, Mone and Barrowman promised to offer 150 out of the 1,300 apartments that comprise ‘Aston’ for Bitcoin.
By February, 50 of those apartments have already been sold, the two entrepreneurs told Business Insider. Michelle Mone added that some of the buyers purchased two apartments each, and one person bought as many as ten.

1 - Celebrities accepting bitcoin = Path to mass adoption + getting closer to the bubble burst.
Let's not forget many people simply mirror whatever celebrities do. If a coin is cool for them, then many fans will also find it cool and blindly buy.
This is good news because the fastest the Bubble pops, the fastest bad project are wiped out, we will start seeing the true development and mass adoption we be closer.
2 - Class move from McAfee to admit he was wrong. We all know how he works on social media and people need to be more selective in choosing what to give him credit for.
3 - J.P. being J.P.
3 - Hopefully it is the end of this Bear cycle. I feel the confidence in the community, but like you said, we cannot predict the future.
4 - Why would they use Bitcoin to do crimes if it is suppose to be a completely transparent blockchain?
Privacy coins are the obvious solution for their problems. But saying this like that gives a bad reputation to privacy coins. Why mass media always talks about the potencial of their bad usage? So many changes of using crypto for good and people always focus on the bad side...
5 - Nice deal.
Other topics - Time for Lisk to rise. It's now or never. If this relaunch doesn't do it, nothing will do... I mean... ETH, NEO and EOS are looking very strong.
