Review
Unification is a blockchain-agnostic ecosystem of Data Providers, Data Consumers and End Users that utilises blockchain technology, machine learning and auxiliary software components to allow the monetised, secure transfer of data. The ecosystem is built around a web of smart contracts, which allow the initialisation and flow of data transfer agreements between Data Providers and Data Consumers, while putting the control of the data flow in the hands of the users themselves, who ultimately own - and are remunerated for - their data.
The main actors of the Unification system are the Data Providers, Data Consumers and the End Users, while the Unified Verifiable Credential ID system introduces the concept of Issuers, Holders and Verifiers. Unification’s decoupled architecture toolkits combine machine learning and efficient, transparent data transfers. This allows the development of autonomous applications designed to revolutionise enterprise and improve our everyday lives. There are several software components involved in it Unification ecosystem. This section provides a brief overview of each major component, and how it relates the actors in the system.
Within the Unification ecosystem, the blockchain is mostly used to store important conditions of the system must and remain publicly verified. That is smart contracts on the blockchain are being implemented appropriately for the purpose of its use: as a public, transparent contract between End Users, Data Providers and Data Consumers. Software entities in the HAIKU Server ecosystem Nodes, HAIKU Clients, and BABEL Applications communicate with and mutual references, through the blockchain, for ensure that each party acts exactly as it should at any stage from the data transfer process. Because the data stored on the blockchain is publicly available, it also means that anyone can request and verify that UApps (both Data and Consumer Data Providers), End Users, and the Unification itself all act like they have promised in the ecosystem.
Three smart contracts are needed in Unification the ecosystem of MOTHER and Token contracts is used and managed by the Unification Foundation. Third type Contracts are used by each individual UApp when they want to act as Data Providers and / or Data Users within Unification ecosystem. Smart contracts are the core of the ecosystem, with cross-referencing networks and referring them in various the stages of the data transfer process.
HAIKU Node9 server is all part of the software UApp developer who wants to act as a Data Provider needed to install. This acts as a middleware component on Unification ecosystems, facilitate data transfer, by interacting with the underlying data source, validating who UApps is request data through smart contracts on the blockchain, encrypt data, implement and process state channels, and serving data requests through the default RPC server.
