Don't BELIEVE the Hype the Cryptocurrency fairies HATE me
So after 8 weeks in the Crypto Universe i'm still a few thousand dollars down.
I bought in when the market cap MC100b and invested fairly evenly between ($ wise)
Ethereum
Ripple
XEM
NXT
EOS
SC
and a few others
I've learnt so much.
Lesson 1: If a youtube expert claims a coin is going to the moon then chances are they are about to dump it.
Lesson 2: ICOs are for insiders who purchase for pennies and get the Alert when to dump so tread very carefully and only use a few hundred dollars you are willing to lose.
Lesson 3: And by far the most important .ALWAYS read the white paper and assess if the offering has a sound business PLAN.
Investing in a future Company can potentially pay off BIG time as opposed to buying a TOKEN which is simply shared with no genuine value .
Lesson 4: NEVER sell for a loss if possible. Most Currencies will increase over time if you give them a chance.I constantly see people posting on Social Media wanting the inside scoop to make a quick buck.
Slow and steady wins the race.
Thanks for reading.
Rerun
I invested in bitcoin when it was $90 bucks. Throughout the years i just added 10 bucks here, 20 bucks there. I stayed strong through all the ups and downs and never touched them! That is until a couple months ago when i decided to start trading. Ive probably lost about $1,000 bucks thinking i could do it but long story short.... your right, slow and steady wins the race!
#bitcoin, #trading, #altcoins, #slowandsteady
Thanks Lance
Without mistakes we never learn
I was so close to investing in SUPERIOR coin but my payment failed which started a lengthy investigation of which i decided was not worth the effort.
Now with the FAILURE of SUPERIOR coin it highlights an even broader WARNING to do your homework BEFORE spending hard earned money.
Slow and steady
Excellent write!
