Trying to establish the authenticity of what you are saying by lying to your "followers" or through exaggerations is suicidal to any leader. The people will eventually find out the truth and when they do, the currency of leadership i.e trust, is forever destroyed.Trust is founded on integrity. As a leader, you are in a covenant relationship with those who trust in your visibility, never break that covenant by creating false impressions about yourself.
