RE: SLC S22W1//Variables and Expressions

Thank you for pointing out it sir!
First I tried to give little ease to students as this is week 1 course but now at your instructions,I have added more complexity in homework tasks!

• I have asked participants to share practical and algebric examples both for explaining types of variables and expressions other than that which I have explained in this course.

• In task 2 I have asked participants to be as detailed as they can for adding perfection in their task.

• In task 3, I have added one more practical question and make all questions some more complex because if anyone understood this course then he can participate and solve these questions too! Following are the questions.

• Simplify this expression: 3(2x - 1) + 2(x + 4) - 5
• Evaluate this expression: (x^2 + 2x - 3) / (x + 1) when x = 2
• Solve the following equation: 2x + 5 = 3(x - 2) + 1

• In task 4,I have added one more scenerio based question which is quite complex than scenario number 1.Here is scenario number 2 which is added by me recently!

• Suppose that cost of renting a car for a day is re-presented by the expression 2x + 15 and here x is the number of hours in which car is rented. If the rental company offers a package of 3x - 2 dollars for customers who take car at rent for more than 4 hours then write an expression for the total cost of renting the car for x hours and show how you simplify it.

Hopefully now homework tasks are according to that difficulty level which you wanted and they are not much easy, nor much difficult for participants!
