Alan Rickman

Alan Rickman was born on February 21, 1946, in Hammersmith, London, and grew up in a working-class family. He attended art school before pursuing a career in acting. Rickman was known to be a private person and kept his personal life out of the spotlight. He was married to Rima Horton, his partner of over 50 years, and they lived together in London until his passing in 2016. In his free time, Rickman enjoyed playing the guitar and writing poetry. He was also known for his love of gardening and owned a garden in London where he would spend time tending to his plants.
