It really does hurt.
Someone told me this year I would live just long enough to regret having kids. As in things will get bad enough for humanity on this planet that I would feel bad for having brought them into it.
Whether or not that is the case, it would be great if we all took that stance to change what we were doing and precariously avoid that eventuality.
Probably what it is going to take.

The mess we are burdening our children and grandchildren with may be more than they can handle.
This is why it is so important to start the process now.
